Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm
If you need to speak to an adviser outside these times, the Directgov Careers Helpline for Young People offers free, confidential information and advice about the world of careers and learning for 13 to 19 year olds in England. Advisers are available between 8am-10pm, Monday-Sunday. The Helpline is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Call free on 0800 100 900, text 07766 413 219.
All Connexions Centres are closed on Bank/Public Holidays.
The entrance to the Connexions Centre is within the Gateshead Interchange concourse facing the bus station. Connexions Gateshead is easily reached by all forms of pubic transport.

Connexions Gateshead is all on one level and provides a wide range of information including details of local and national education, employment and training opportunities.
We also have an extensive range of other useful leaflets including information on current job and apprenticeship vacancies as well as advice and guidance on a range of lifestyle issues such as money, housing and health.
We also have staff from Jobcentre Plus on site to support young people who need help and advice about jobs and employment.
Free internet access is available to all visitors as well as a range of careers software to help you in your future planning, these packages include Kudos, Careerscape, Adult Directions and an internet link to Fast Tomato.
We also welcome visits from parents and carers.
