Gateshead Interchange

Get up and Go
10.00am - 2.00 pm

The annual Get up and Go event was held at Gateshead Connexions Centre on 15th March 2008. 

Over 400 people attended the event, 183 young people attended, most with parents/carers.

Young people from a wide range of Gateshead Secondary Schools attended.  People were offered the chance to meet with a range of training providers including:-

TDR Engineering
Gateshead College
Gateshead MBC
Ace 2000
Zodiac Training
Rathbone
ITEC
Access Training
Fit
Resources
Rainbow
Tyneside Training Services
B-skill

Everyone who attended was asked to complete an evaluation sheet. 

The sheets completed by young people were then entered into a PRIZE DRAW to win a I-Pod.

Feedback received by everyone who attended was generally positive and the event was a huge success for all concerned.
