During May a total of 18 ‘Comments’ were received these included 15 compliments and 3 complaints. 83% of comments received were ‘compliments’ this continues the high percentage return of positive feedback. The majority of comments received this month were by 1 view your view leaflets (33%) and e-mail (28%). The majority of comments received were made by young people (50%).

What did people say?


Compliments from clients:

• I am very pleased with the help my PA provided to help me sort
  out my future. Thank you.
• My Connexions advisor has been very good and has helped me a lot. I was
  homeless and ‘my PA’ helped me to find somewhere to live, basic skills which
  I struggle with, benefits, food and money for a bus pass.
• The ‘Connexions’ website is very good. I liked it very much.
• Thank you very much for the CV you did for me and all the help from you
  and the staff………I got the job I applied for.

 

Compliments from partner organisations:

• A big thank you for all your hard work for our young people…. Without your
  help and support this ‘event’ would not have been possible.
• May I thank you and all your staff within the Connexions network for your
  co-operation, which has resulted in a highly successful recruitment campaign.
• Just a note to say thanks to you and the rest of the staff at Connexions for a
  very enjoyable visit. The students had a very enjoyable visit and found it very
  helpful, they commented on how nice and friendly everyone was and that they
  would feel quite happy to visit the office themselves when they finish college.

 

Compliments from parent or carer

• My neighbour has called into Connexions a couple of times during the last few months and commented on how helpful he found staff, In particular, he said he felt that PA’s really had time for you.

 

Complaints and Suggestions

• No suggestions were received this month.

• 2 complaints were received from young people after being refused financial assistance that fell outside of the Connexions remit. These have been individually reviewed and resolved.

• 1 complaint was received from a Parent/Carer regarding problems completing application forms through the Connexions website and the support available to do this from Connexions staff. This has been fully investigated. A comprehensive help screen now gives easy to follow instructions on how to use any aspect of the system from searching for vacancies to registering and applying online. The evaluation of this improvement by young people did not highlight any problems with ‘user friendliness’. The matter is considered resolved.
