The high level of comments received about the services offered by Connexions continued during November. A total of 48 ‘Comments’, included 42 compliments, 4 complaints and 2 suggestions. 88% of comments returned being ‘compliments’ was 10% higher than last months figure and continues the high return of positive feedback.

Compliments from clients:

I was given excellent advice about how to further pursue my interest in music and when I left I had an envelope full of useful information. I was shocked at how great the attention was and I think the Personal Advisor should get a pay rise or something because he/she was a brilliant help and a fantastic person. Thank you



Compliments from parents/carers:

- A personal Advisor received some flowers and chocolates by a mother as thanks for the work they had done with her son


Compliments from partner organisations:

- Nearly 50% of compliments received this month were from partner organisations regarding the support given to them by connexions for their work experience placements. Comments included: - a valuable resource to the school; support and help is excellent; service ensures positive outcomes and experience; an efficient and friendly team always ready to help.


Suggestions

- Suggested that Connexions staff should wear a uniform.
Outcome; due to financial restraints Implementation is not possible at this time
.


Complaints

- A young person commented that we should have visitor door cards to hand out to visitors when the receptionists send young people upstairs, as waiting by the (locked) door until somebody opens it is very young person unfriendly.
Outcome; Cannot implement due to security and Health and Safety issues
