Nov / Dec 2004 [view other months] During November and December 2004 we received 20 comments. 12 were compliments, were suggestions for improvement and 6 were complaints.
There were no comments from unknown sources.
Most people who made comments used the 1 View…Your View leaflet. The process was reviewed with young people during November 2004 and they are happy with how the process is working. To encourage more use of 1 View…Your View, we are looking at how comments can be displayed in Connexions Centres and we want to make it easier for young people to make comments using our website.
• “It is a really good place to come to collect information”: • A young person was left with a very good impression of Connexions as a request for information was dealt with really promptly so that he was able to use it in an assignment. • “Helpful, considerate and friendly staff and a cool building…thank-you and keep it up” • “Just to say thank you for all the assistance I have received in the last 3 or 4 occasions that I have called in for information. I will not hesitate in recommending this organisation…” • A group of young people that one of our PAs works closely with, commented on the contribution she has made to the group. The views of all staff are currently being sought on the suggestion they made that we have an award scheme for those staff who provide support to young people. • “I think Connexions help you out a lot, I don’t know what I’d do without them” • “I think Connexions are fantastic. I’d be lost without them. I now have a full time job thanks to them they are great”
• “Thanks for everything, I believe we made a good team” following work experience at a school. • A partner organisation was so impressed with a young person we arranged a work experience placement for 3 years ago that they asked us to track the young person down so he could be offered a job. • The customer satisfaction rate of 98% at a Newcastle Community Service Centre one stop shop in which Connexions deploys staff to provide a PA service, was confirmed at a Council committee meeting when a councillor commented that they had received excellent service at the centre. • A partner organisation praised our “fantastic website” saying how easy it is to use, how perfect it is for the age range at which it is aimed, and how much superior it is to other Connexions websites he has looked at. • “Thank you for the use of the Youth Room at Gateshead…You have great facilities and we were made to feel extremely welcome”
