Suggestions
- Suggestion received to add a direct link to a partner site onto the Connexions Website. This has been completed.
Suggest that apprentices should be paid a minimum wage. This issue is controlled by government policy and since the suggestion was anonymous no action could be taken.
Complaints
- information given to young people on job vacancies which was found to be out of date – the jobs had been suspended. An apology was made and the situation resolved – staff were reminded of timely updates to job vacancies.
- complaint on break in confidentiality was investigated and subsequently no evidence found to substantiate the complaint. The young person was contacted and after discussion ‘went away happy’.
- Website button directed to wrong ‘pages’ for competition. Connexions were aware of the problem and work was in progress to correct it. Two young people were informed of when actions would be complete to correct this issue.
