If you are currently at college or in 6th form, depending on the course you take you have 3 main choices:-
- Continuing in full-time education.
- Leaving full-time education for a job/training
- Part-time education
There are many factors which will influence this decision including:
- Your attitude to study
- What job or career you have in mind
- Financial considerations
- The state of the job market
- Whether you want to take 'Time Out' from your studies and work or travel for a period of time before resuming your studies. This is usually an option that applies to students looking to go on to higher education.
Not sure what to do?
If you are not sure about whether to go on to higher education, you may wish to consider applying for a course as well as looking for a job. This decision can be left until you know your exam results.
