  • Handy hints for telephoning employers

For some jobs you might need to ring and ask for an application form. You might also want to ring an employer to find out more about a job before you decide whether or not to apply.

Some employers might ask you to telephone them for a telephone interview to assess your suitability but they usually make this clear in the job advert. Employment agencies often give a short telephone interview before they ask you to come in to register with them.
