This event has already taken place

The ‘Get Up and Go’ event will take place at Newcastle Connexions Centre on Saturday 1 September 2007 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

The event will focus on the many interesting opportunities available in work based learning. Many well-known learning providers who are based in Newcastle will be present to give information about their training programmes. Organisations who have already agreed to support the event include:
*  Key Training
*  NECC
*  BL Hairdressing
*  MCQ
*  Zenos
*  Rathbone
*  NACRO.

If you are a young person who lives in Newcastle and you are not currently in education, employment or training we recommend you attend the event.  Parents are also very welcome.

You’ll be able to ask questions about the providers, the qualifications, financial support and the types of work available. Connexions Personal Advisers will also be on hand to offer advice and information and help you plan out your future.

No appointment is necessary so you can just turn up on the day.
