The "Get Up and Go" event will take place at our Newcastle Connexions Centre in Percy Street between 10am and 4.30pm.

The event is aimed at school leavers in Newcastle and will focus on the wide range of opportunities that are available in work based learning.

Meet Training Providers

Many well-known training providers will be at the "Get Up and Go" event to give information about their training programmes.

You will get the chance to ask questions about the the qualifications, the money on offer and the types of work available.

The day will be broken up into 3 sections:

Between 10.00am - 1.00pm
Opportunities in Construction

Between 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Opportunities in Engineering and Motor Vehicle Studies

Between 3.00pm - 4.30pm
Opportunities in Retail, Hairdressing and Business Administration

Connexions Personal Advisers

Connexions Personal Advisers will also be at the event to offer advice and information to help you plan out your future.
