Millennium Volunteers (MV) are young people aged 16-24 who volunteer their time to help others. Volunteering can be anything from designing websites, to coaching football teams, making music and helping other young people.

MVs are presented with an MV Award for completing 100 hours of volunteering and an MV Award of Excellence after clocking up 200 hours. This award will look great on your CV!

More than 300 young people have been involved in the MV Project in North Tyneside within the last 3 years. Recently one group of volunteers won a prestigious MV of the Year Award for their involvement in the Youth Voice Project.

The MV Project is always looking to recruit more young people to get involved in community activities that benefit themselves and others.
