Opening times
Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm

If you need to speak to an adviser outside these times, the Directgov Careers Helpline for Young People offers free, confidential information and advice about the world of careers and learning for 13 to 19 year olds in England. Advisers are available between 8am-10pm, Monday-Sunday. The Helpline is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Call free on 0800 100 900, text 07766 413 219.

Free internet access

We offer free internet access and computer use. You can also use dedicated software to help you decide which career might suit you best. You might also want to write and print a letter or create a CV. Someone will usually be available to help you use the computers.

Vacancies

We have two large notice boards that display a wide range of jobs. Once you have browsed through the opportunities available, staff will be available to  help you apply for them, as well as help you with CVs and application forms.

Resources

We have a resource area where you will find lots of information on careers, health, money and other subjects. There are also newspapers which contain the latest job vacancies.

Connexions Job Club 

Connexions Job Club runs sessions every Thursday afternoon.  Our Job Club can give you individual support with writing CVs, covering letters and speculative letters. You can also have a mock interview to build your confidence and learn new interview techniques. You can also search and apply to local learning and job opportunities.

You can contact us beforehand to book an appointment for 3pm or 4pm or you can just drop in anytime between 1pm and 3pm.

Travel expenses will be refunded if you bring in your bus or Metro ticket.
