The Diploma in Sunderland

The Diploma is a qualification based around work rather than traditional academic subjects. You will have the opportunity to experience different styles of learning in different environments. Diplomas are alternative qualifications to GCSEs and and AS/A Levels which you can take alongside them. They can lead to further study, or to employment with training.

You need a whole range of skills in life, not just academic achievement. The Diploma helps you to develop skills and experience that employers, colleges and universities value. These skills will include creative thinking and teamwork. You will also develop your English, Maths and ICT abilities and study other National Curriculum subjects.
