Tyne North Training was established in 1968 as an EITB group training organisation to assist companies with apprentice training. This includes selection, recruitment and the arrangements for training and assessment throughout an apprentice’s training. Tyne North Training operates from a purpose built facility in Wallsend located close to Tyne Metropolitan College on the Coast Road between Tynemouth and Newcastle, with easy access to the IGNITE Centre for Engineering and Innovation which is situated next door.

Tyne North Training have developed an excellent reputation with local schools, colleges and engineering companies over many years. This has enabled the business to grow into one of the North East's premier Apprenticeship training providers.  We are classed as Good with Ofsted and have excellent Apprenticeship success rates. There are 400-450 apprentices in training at any time during the year working with approximately 150 companies.
