Volunteering with Raleigh International
Raleigh is a youth and education charity. Since 1984 it has inspired over 30,000 people from all walks of life, nationalities and ages to get out there and rise to the challenges of life on expedition.
What they do
Throughout the year they run expeditions in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and India. These last between three and half and ten weeks and can inspire 17-24 years to join as ventures and over 25s to join as volunteer managers. The expeditions are challenging but extremely rewarding.
They also design tailor made expeditions for organisations, employers, schools and youth membership organisations.

It’s a unique opportunity to learn new skills whilst making a difference to communities and enrich the lives on the students involved.
