Gateshead stretches almost 13 miles along the south bank of the River Tyne and covers an area of 55 square miles, making it the largest in area of the five Tyne and Wear metropolitan authorities.

The town of Gateshead is divided into five areas, Central, East, Inner West, West and South there are a range of activities being held in these areas covering a wide age range.  A selection of events is listed below, perhaps you would like to try something different today.

Jazz Band
Music and fun for young people aged 7 and over. Mondays 6.30pm-8pm and Saturdays 12.30pm-4pm.

Inclusive Club
For young people aged 13-25 with learning or physical disabilities. Wednesdays 6.30pm-8.30pm and Saturdays 10am-12noon.

Ryton Rangers Out of School Club
Childcare, play, arts and crafts and physical activities. Monday-Friday 3.15pm-6pm (term time) and Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (school holidays).

Young People’s Clinic
C-Card point and private drop in clinic for young people to talk about sexual health issues and Chlamydia testing. Mondays 12noon-1pm.

Triple B
Boards, bikes and blades for young people who want to meet new friends, plan trips and learn new skills. Friday 4.15pm-5.45pm.
