Principal Aims

Woodlawn school has a 'can do' approach. All pupils are challenged to achieve their aims. A multi-disciplinary approach operates across the school to support every pupil to take part in the full range of school activities which include; gymnastic tournaments, dance festivals, charity fundraising, poetry competitions, etc.

Students considered

All students at Woodlawn have a statement of special educational needs. Woodlawn offers support for young people with physical disabilities and/or social and emotional difficulties.

Sixth Form courses include:

Level 1 Certificate in Personal and Social Education
Level 1 Award in Exploring Enterprise Skills
Level 1 Award in Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT
Duke of Edinburgh Award

Courses are also offered in conjunction with partner schools and Woodlawn actively seek opportunities that meet the needs of individual students.

Students are offered residential opportunities and have previously been to Center Parcs.
